Transportation Coordinator

MILKYWAY LOGISTICS INC is seeking a skilled Transport Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across various routes.
Key Responsibilities- Transportation Operations: Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, load and unload goods, and operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment, and perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
- Logistics and Safety: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety protocols, and maintain accurate records of transportation activities.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Will train, with a focus on developing skills in transportation coordination and logistics management.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Environment: Physically demanding, with a large workload and overtime required.
