We are seeking a skilled Transportation Coordinator to join our team at TRIDENT TRANSPORTATION INC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods and personnel.
Key Responsibilities- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all equipment is in good working order and perform routine maintenance tasks as needed.
- Work Records and Logs: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of work completed, including mileage, fuel usage, and repairs.
- Personnel Management: Monitor personnel workloads and locations, and advise vehicle operators of traffic and other problems.
- Dispatch and Coordination: Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders, and coordinate activities of vehicle operators and crews.
- Communication: Operate radio equipment and process and transmit information and instructions to coordinate activities.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience an asset, but not required.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
