About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Product Demonstrator to join our team at Costco. As a Product Demonstrator, you will be responsible for introducing new products to our customers and providing an exceptional shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers and create brand awareness through product demonstrations
  • Dynamically sell products to customers and meet sales targets
  • Assist other team members as required in a team-oriented environment
  • Set up and organize merchandise, prepare vendor products according to written instructions
  • Coordinate, organize, and close down work area, including cleaning and sanitizing, washing and drying dishes, and proper storage of equipment
  • Adhere to all food safety handling and sanitation training and guidelines
  • Participate and adhere to all safety policies and practices

Requirements

  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to ensure high levels of service and quality are maintained
  • Track record of building and maintaining customer/client relationships
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle fast-paced work environment
  • Professional food safety certification required
  • Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures
  • Must be able to work flexible hours and schedule, including weekends

Working Environment

The ideal candidate will be able to work in a retail in-store environment, standing for long periods of time, and lifting up to 10 kg. The use of proper safety practices when handling products and cooking is essential.
