About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Agricultural Operations Supervisor to join our team at Log Barn 1912 Enterprises Corp. As a key member of our farm operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our farm, ensuring the health and well-being of our livestock, and maintaining the quality of our crops.

Key Responsibilities
  • Animal Health and Welfare
    • Diagnose and treat livestock health issues in a timely and effective manner
    • Monitor animal health and take corrective action as needed
  • Crop Management
    • Direct and oversee the deleafing activities of agricultural crops
    • Ensure the quality and quantity of crops meet our high standards
  • Operations and Maintenance
    • Supervise and coordinate the work of general farm workers and harvesting laborers
    • Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed at all times
    • Maintain accurate records of livestock performance and crop production
  • Equipment and Machinery
    • Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment in a safe and efficient manner
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
