About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Supervisor to join our team at Log Barn 1912 Enterprises Corp. As a key member of our agricultural operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our farm, ensuring the health and well-being of our livestock, and maintaining the quality of our crops.

Key Responsibilities
  • Animal Health and Welfare: Diagnose and treat livestock health issues, monitor animal health, and ensure the implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures.
  • Crop Management: Direct agricultural crops deleafing activities, oversee the process of hoeing crops, and supervise milking operations to ensure work is done correctly.
  • Team Leadership: Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers, maintain livestock performance records, and ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed.
  • Maintenance and Operations: Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, perform general farm duties, and maintain work records and logs.
Requirements
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 40 hours per week
