Agricultural Operations Supervisor

RAINIER RANCH INC is seeking a dedicated Farm Supervisor to oversee various agricultural operations. This role involves managing both crop and livestock activities to ensure optimal productivity and adherence to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities- Safety and Bio-security: Assist in developing and implementing essential farm safety and bio-security measures.
- Agricultural Services: Provide comprehensive agricultural crop services, including plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, and harvesting.
- Team Coordination: Coordinate and supervise the activities of general farm workers and harvesting laborers.
- Livestock Management: Supervise breeding programs and other livestock-related operations.
- Crop Operations: Oversee growing and related crop operations, ensuring best practices are followed.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate work records and logs to track farm activities.
- Staff Management: Hire, train, and manage farm staff to enhance operational efficiency.
- Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
- General Duties: Perform various general farm duties as required.
The work environment includes:
- Type of Crops: Carrots, Cauliflowers, Cucumbers, Garlic, Ginger.
- Supervision: Responsible for overseeing a team of 3-4 individuals.
Education: A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
Work Hours: The position requires a commitment of 35 to 40 hours per week.
Language: Proficiency in English is necessary for effective communication.
