Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic IT Solutions Expert for Finance to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with Finance teams to improve the capabilities of IT systems and quality of data used for financial purposes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, business rules, and data sources.
  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with Finance and business line clients to analyze functional requirements and deliver appropriate documentation and explanations.
  • Act as the first line of contact to interface with Finance business users on specific products and projects.
  • Work with project managers, developers, quality engineers, and other business analysts to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Requirements:
  1. At least 5 years of experience in Financial Services, with a focus on delivering large-scale programs and product enhancements.
  2. Strong Business Analysis skills - elicitation, synthesis, evaluation, and communication of results.
  3. Understanding of finance, including the role of subledgers, financial account postings, and financial control closing processes.
  4. Strong understanding of Data Models, experience in data analysis, and experience in Database systems like SQL, MS Access, MS Excel, and other analytical tools.
  5. Strong communication skills - ability to write clearly, know the audience, one-on-one verbal communications, ability to give presentations, and run meetings is critical.
  6. Experience using business analysis and requirements modeling tools, such as data flow diagrams, relationship data models, and business process modeling.

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. We offer a competitive compensation package, including a comprehensive Total Rewards Program, to ensure your success and growth in this role.
