About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at The Rock Christian Community Daycare. As an integral part of our childcare team, you will play a vital role in supporting the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of our young children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in Housekeeping and Cooking Duties: Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a clean and safe environment for our children.
  • Childcare and Education: Assist in the development and implementation of child-care programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Record Keeping: Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in maintaining accurate records of children's progress and activities.
  • Food Safety and Handling: Ensure that food safety and handling practices are followed at all times.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with colleagues and community service providers working with children.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
  • Certifications: Child development assistant (ECE level 1), First Aid Certificate
