Job Title: Delivery Driver

A1 TRANSPORT HOT SHOT & EXPRESS SERVICES INC is seeking a reliable and skilled Delivery Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, operating and driving automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand
  • Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products
  • Load and unload goods
  • Use maps and other trip planning aids
  • Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems
  • Provide customer service
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
Requirements:
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles)
  • Local transportation/travel experience
  • Driving record check (abstract)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
