Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Roofing Team Lead to join our team at K.Puction. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for supervising workers and projects, co-ordinating and scheduling activities, and overseeing apprenticeship training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead a team of roofers and labourers
  • Co-ordinate and schedule construction activities
  • Oversee apprenticeship training and development
  • Recruit and hire new team members
  • Train and develop team members
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
  • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings
  • Requisition and order materials and equipment

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in roofing or construction
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work at heights and in outdoor environments
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
