Nurse Specialist

Job Summary:
Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to work in our Med/Surg department. As a Nurse Specialist in our Bone Marrow Transplant/Leukemia unit, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with the healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to patients undergoing bone marrow transplant/leukemia treatment
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to patient care discussions
- Provide education and support to patients and families
Requirements:
• Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia (CRNBC)
• 2+ years of experience in a Med/Surg setting
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Work Location: VGH 12th & Oak, Department: Bone Marrow Transplant Inpatient, Home Worksite: 01 - Vancouver General Hospital
