HR Business Partner for Canada Market

We are seeking a seasoned HR Business Partner to join our team in Canada. As a key member of our HR team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and development through strategic HR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with our overall business objectives.
  2. Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
  3. Manage the recruitment and selection process to attract top talent.
  4. Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
  5. Nurture a positive working environment that fosters collaboration and innovation.
  6. Oversee and manage a performance review system that drives and recognizes high performance.
  7. Maintain payroll, compensation plan, and benefits programs that support our employees' well-being.
  8. Assess training needs and apply and monitor training programs to enhance employee skills.
  9. Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.

Requirements and Skills:

  1. Proven working experience as an HR Manager, HRBP, or similar role.
  2. People-oriented and results-driven with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  3. Knowledge of HR systems and databases, including Workday and ADP.
  4. Ability to architect strategy while demonstrating strong leadership skills.
  5. Ability to resolve complex employee relations issues.
  6. Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  7. Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
  8. In-depth knowledge of Canadian Labor Law and risk avoidance.
  9. Experience with pay equity and immigration processes.

What You Need to Succeed:

  1. 5+ years relevant experience in HR.
  2. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to influence through strong relationships, data, and wise counsel.
  3. Comfortable being a hands-on team player as well as a thought partner to our managers.
  4. Passion for designing and delivering creative solutions to everyday problems.
  5. Ability to handle change and ambiguity well.
