Job Description

The Director of Electrical Engineering will be responsible for leading and managing the electrical engineering department, overseeing the design, development, and testing of new products and technologies. The role requires strong organizational and project management skills, as well as experience in managing complex engineering projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the electrical engineering department with knowledge in electrical engineering principles.
  • Mentor and develop electrical engineering staff, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their professional goals.
  • Develop and implement electrical engineering strategies that align with company goals and objectives.
  • Oversee the design, development, and testing of new products and technologies.
  • Ensure all electrical engineering projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Foster harmonious communication and collaboration with other departments, including sales and production, to ensure seamless integration of electrical engineering solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and best practices.
  • Proven experience managing complex electrical engineering projects from concept to completion.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Experience in the industrial vehicle or electric vehicle industry is a plus.
  • Bilingual (French/English) with perfect command of both languages (spoken and written).

Benefits and Compensation

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. In addition to the base salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, paid vacation, and more.
