We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Cashier to join our team at Shoppers Drug Mart. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the cash handling operations and ensuring a seamless customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Cash Handling: Manage cash transactions, process payments, and maintain accurate records.
- Team Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of cashiers, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality customer service.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, including stock levels and product placement.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, resolving issues and addressing customer concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Store Operations: Assist with store opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and inventory management.
- Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of retail experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
