Genomic Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Genomic Analyst to join our team at the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing timely and accurate diagnostic test results.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the validation and verification of clinical next-generation sequencing (NGS) bioinformatic pipelines.
- Prioritize and classify genetic variants to ensure accurate diagnostic results.
- Collaborate with a diverse team of medical and technologist staff to achieve shared goals.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, quality control, and quality assurance services.
- PhD in Human Genetics, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Molecular Biology, or equivalent field.
- Two years of post-doctoral or equivalent experience in NGS analysis and variant assessment.
- Expertise in bioinformatic tools and databases, with a strong understanding of genetic variant interpretation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with individuals at all levels.
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and juggle multiple projects.
