About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Consultant to join our team at AWIN Group of Dealerships. As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for selling and leasing/financing new and pre-owned vehicles to existing and new customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers to achieve sales and lease/finance targets.
  • Handle incoming sales traffic, including phone, internet, and in-person inquiries.
  • Qualify all prospects and arrange trade-in appraisals through the Pre-Owned Sales Manager.
  • Liaise between prospects and sales management during negotiations.
  • Turn over all sales customers to the finance office and arrange new and pre-owned deliveries through sales management and the finance office.
  • Actively prospect new customers and follow up with past deliveries to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Research and stay up-to-date on product changes and attend weekly sales meetings.
  • Review performance statistics and set annual sales objectives with management.
  • Familiarize yourself with all manufacturers' sales, lease, and finance programs.
  • Make annual lease maturity contact calls with existing clients and stay informed about competitive products.
  • Participate in off-site marketing and advertising initiatives as required by sales management.
  • Assist in showroom display arrangements and participate in off-site product and skills training programs.
  • Closing sales by overcoming objections, negotiating prices, and completing sales or purchase contracts.
  • Stay informed about applicable federal, provincial, and local laws governing retail auto sales.
  • Escort customers to the customer lounge, Parts Counter, and introduce them to the Service Department, including Management.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
  • Valid Ontario G Driver's License.
  • Clear Driver's Abstract.
  • Valid OMVIC registration.
  • Strong business acumen and professional appearance.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Passion, motivation, focus, and leadership skills.
  • Results-focused approach and team player.
  • Strong communication skills, ability to influence, negotiate, and mediate effectively.
