Job Title: Structural Engineer - Building Design Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer with expertise in building design to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for planning and designing buildings, conducting site visits, and collaborating with clients and colleagues to determine project requirements.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on challenging projects and contribute to the success of our company. We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package.

As a Structural Engineer at ALA Engineering Inc., you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from industrial and commercial buildings to residential construction. You will be responsible for developing construction specifications and procedures, establishing and monitoring construction work schedules, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field;
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association; or eligibility for registration;
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, Autodesk REVIT, and MS Excel;
  • Experience in construction specialization, particularly in industrial, commercial, and institutional projects;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • A strong attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure;
