About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineering Specialist to join our Asset Management team at WEL Networks. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal balance between asset lifecycle cost and network reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop asset strategy and maintenance plans for substation equipment
  • Review network data and investigate failures
  • Collaborate with the team to set maintenance standards and improve asset performance

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (or equivalent qualification) and a minimum of three years' experience in a substation environment working on long-life assets. You will also need knowledge of and experience in the application of relevant acts, regulations, and codes of practice that govern our industry.
