As the Senior Product Manager, Omnichannel Platform, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end product lifecycle of the Omnichannel Platform, enabling engineering teams to deliver a best-in-class set of platform services for international retail at scale. Your key responsibilities include steering the strategic product roadmap from discovery, design, delivery, and support. You will leverage your industry-leading skills and experience in Retail Platform capability development to enhance our ability to operate internationally at scale.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the strategic product roadmap for the Omnichannel Platform
  • Collaborate with the Director of Engineering to align technology product strategy with company goals and vision
  • Build strong partnerships with business product owners and sponsors to understand, empathize, and create a compelling vision and strategic 1-3 year roadmap for the platform
  • Owning the intake process for work brought into the platform, communicating request status, priority, and capacity
  • Defining and tracking the budget and resources for the platform, optimizing efficiency and cost-effectiveness, and partnering with business owners to justify product initiatives to senior company stakeholders
  • Ensuring alignment across all initiatives within the product roadmap and cross-functionally, efficient escalation, and removal of impediments
  • Reporting product roadmap status regularly to business partner steering committees, escalating risks and issues, and mitigation recommendations to product or portfolio steerco for decisions
  • Supporting technology senior leaders in achieving the product portfolio's strategic goals
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or post-secondary education in Information Technology, Business, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager/Owner in a technical environment
  • 3+ years' professional experience in software development or developer tools
  • 2+ years' experience working with APIs, Cloud technology such as Kubernetes, Redis, no-sql databases, and backend server technology
  • Technical background and/or strong experience in a technical environment
  • Demonstrated success working in an agile methodology
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with all levels of stakeholders, strong leadership and people management skills
  • Exceptional ability to collaborate and contribute as a team player, build strong, positive relationships within your team, and cross-functionally
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, ability to explain, articulate, and document concepts, frameworks, and requirements
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills while managing multiple, competing priorities
  • Demonstrated success in managing budgets and resources for product portfolios
  • Excellent time management skills, ability to plan and meet deadlines
  • High level of analytical and critical thinking
  • Strong facilitation, diplomacy, and leadership skills

What We Offer

A competitive salary range of CAD$122,000 - CAD$152,000 per year, plus a bonus program and benefits package.
