As the Senior Product Manager, Omnichannel Platform, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end product lifecycle of the Omnichannel Platform, enabling engineering teams to deliver a best-in-class set of platform services for international retail at scale. Your key responsibilities include steering the strategic product roadmap from discovery to delivery and support, leveraging your industry-leading skills and experience in Retail Platform capability development to enhance our ability to operate internationally at scale.

The Omnichannel team serves business services and underlying integration platforms globally for Arc'teryx, with both local and remote team members. Collaboratively, we drive new platform development to meet business demands with unmatched speed and flexibility.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Deliver the end-to-end product lifecycle of platform services owned by the Omnichannel Platform.
  2. Collaborate with the Director of Engineering to communicate the strategic vision and align technology product strategy with company goals and vision.
  3. Build strong partnerships with business product owners and sponsors to understand, empathize, and create a compelling vision and strategic 1-3 year roadmap for the platform.
  4. Owning the intake process for work brought into the platform, using this process to communicate request status, priority, and capacity.
  5. Working with the Director of Engineering to define and track the budget and resources for the platform, optimizing efficiency and cost-effectiveness, and partnering with business owners to input investment needs for business cases to justify product initiatives to senior company stakeholders.
  6. Ensuring alignment across all initiatives within the product roadmap and cross-functionally, ensuring efficient escalation and removal of impediments.
  7. Responsible for reporting product roadmap status regularly to business partner steering committees, escalating risks and issues, and mitigation recommendations to product or portfolio steerco for decisions, while also communicating overall Platform status.
  8. Supporting technology senior leaders in achieving the product portfolio's strategic goals.
  9. Being a key contributor to the processes used to plan, schedule, report, and communicate what we do.

  2. Leading strategic planning sessions with business stakeholders to understand long-term business objectives and technology requirements.
Requirements
  1. You have a Bachelor's degree or post-secondary education in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  2. You have 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager/Owner in a technical environment.
  3. You have 3+ years' professional experience in software development or developer tools.
  4. You have 2+ years' experience working with APIs, Cloud technology such as Kubernetes, Redis, no-sql databases, and backend server technology.
  5. You have a technical background and/or strong experience in a technical environment.
  6. You have demonstrated success working in an agile methodology.
  7. You have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with all levels of stakeholders, with strong leadership and people management skills.
  8. You have an exceptional ability to collaborate and contribute as a team player, and the ability to build strong, positive relationships within your team and cross-functionally.
  9. You have excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to explain, articulate, and document concepts, frameworks, and requirements.
  10. You have strong organization and prioritization skills while managing multiple, competing priorities.
  11. You have demonstrated success in managing budgets and resources for product portfolios.
  12. You have excellent time management skills, with the ability to plan and meet deadlines.
  13. You possess a high level of analytical and critical thinking.
  14. You have strong facilitation, diplomacy, and leadership skills.
  15. You have experience coaching and mentoring in an agile development environment.
  16. You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions.

A reasonable estimate of the pay range is CAD$122,000 - CAD$152,000 at the time of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education, and/or training. Please note that the range details above reflect the base pay only and do not include our competitive bonus program and benefits that we offer.
