About the Job

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Landscape Labourer to join our team at Melfer Property Maintenance Inc. as a key member of our outdoor maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform various outdoor maintenance tasks, including weeding, pruning, and trimming trees and plants.
  • Cut grass and maintain lawns and gardens.
  • Lay sod or seed and plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees.
  • Apply fertilizers and water plants, lawns, and gardens.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including small engine equipment and sod cutters.
  • Remove trees and other vegetation as required.
Work Environment

As a Landscape Labourer with Melfer Property Maintenance Inc., you will work outdoors in a variety of settings, including urban and rural areas, and may be required to work at heights.

Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Manual dexterity and ability to lift heavy objects.
  • Reliability, team player, and hardworking attitude.
