Job Summary

Dovre Import & Export Ltd. is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and Unload Goods: Safely load and unload goods from trucks, ensuring accurate inventory and minimizing damage.
  • Operate Heavy Vehicles: Drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain vehicles, including tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage equipment.
  • Payment and Record-Keeping: Process payments for goods and maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, and fuel consumption.
  • Transportation of Hazardous Goods: Safely transport and handle dangerous goods, adhering to relevant regulations and guidelines.
Requirements
  • Driver's License: Possess a valid Class 1 or A driver's license.
  • Experience: Previous experience as a truck driver is an asset.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, with a regular schedule.
