About the Role

Bhullar Excavating and Demolition Inc is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating heavy equipment trucks to transport goods and materials to various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
  • Vehicle Operation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Logistics: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of accident or incident reports, inspection reports, maintenance and repair reports, and trip reports.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Possess a valid Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with documentation related to trucking and equipment, including accident or incident reports, inspection reports, maintenance and repair reports, and trip reports.
  • Equipment: Experience operating various types of trucks, including spray injection patchers, stone slingers, concrete mixers, dump trucks, and surface mining dump trucks.
Work Environment

The work environment will be physically demanding, requiring attention to detail, flexibility, judgment, and reliability. The work term is permanent, and the work language is English. The work hours are 40 hours per week.
