MVP Transport Ltd. is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Safely: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring the safety of yourself and others on the road.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Logistics and Planning: Plan and coordinate routes, schedules, and cargo information to ensure timely delivery and efficient transportation.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, and communicate with other drivers and stakeholders as needed.
  • Record Keeping: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption to maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Air Brake (Z) Endorsement and Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English
  • Experience: Experience as a truck driver is an asset
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding work, requiring the ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
