Become a Key Player in Agile Development at Gururo

We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to join our agile team at Gururo. As a Scrum Master, you will be responsible for facilitating the agile development process, ensuring efficient project delivery, and empowering team members to make decisions. This remote position based in Canada offers flexibility and the opportunity to work from the comfort of your own home.

Key Responsibilities:

1. **Agile Methodologies Application**: Apply Scrum principles and facilitate events such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
2. Leadership and Guidance: Foster a collaborative environment where team members take ownership and deliver high-quality work. Provide guidance and support to the team, removing impediments that hinder progress.
3. Sprint Goal Definition: Help the team define and track sprint goals, monitor progress, and maintain accurate project documentation.
4. Collaborative Environment Creation: Facilitate effective communication between the development team, product owner, and other stakeholders. Help clarify requirements, manage expectations, and address conflicts or challenges.
5. Culture of Growth and Learning: Encourage continuous growth and learning within the team. Identify opportunities for enhancing the development process and optimize team performance.

Requirements:

1. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master in an agile software development environment.
2. Certification: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification is strongly preferred.
3. Strong Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Scrum principles and agile methodologies.
4. Excellent Communication: Exceptional communication and facilitation skills. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
