About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and effective Project Coordinator to join our team at E.S. Fox Limited. As a Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for the administration of contracts and contractual obligations, including those relating to subcontractors, contract changes, order changes, drawings, material requisitions, budget monitoring, and project organization and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent E.S. Fox Limited as our point of contact with the owner in a professional and fair manner.
  • Understand all aspects of a project budget and liaise with the owner on all cost issues.
  • Develop overall project schedules and oversee the maintenance, progress, and issuance of schedule.
  • Fully understand the project scope and liaise with the owner on all scope issues.
  • Understand and administer the contractual agreements between E.S. Fox Limited and the owner while ensuring conformity to contract documents.
  • Address all relevant issues with appropriate correspondence in a professional manner.
  • Ensure the project is executed in a safe manner following the E.S. Fox Limited safety policy and OSHA guidelines.
  • Ensure the appropriate level of quality assurance is applied to the project with the appropriate resources.
  • Develop and oversee the development of all project requisitions and work with the central purchasing group to obtain all materials in accordance with project schedules.
  • Work with Team Leads to ensure they recognize and retain productive labor resources.
  • Work with Team Leads to ensure they recognize and address unproductivity.
  • Understand job costing and tracking reports, i.e., dollars, hours, schedule, etc.
  • Assemble estimates for projects and project extras.
  • Ensure responsibilities and accountabilities are carried out in a safe manner in accordance with E.S. Fox Limited safety policy/procedures, ISO 18001 standards, and OHSA requirements.
  • Ensure that environmental aspects within your sphere of responsibility are adhered to pursuant to ISO 14001 requirements.

Requirements, Experience, and Skills:

  • Post-secondary diploma from a Technologist/Technician program (C.E.T. is preferred), or a degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) are required.
  • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Prior experience working within a construction site environment is preferred.
  • Professional Certification as Foreman through CCA Gold Seal Program is an asset.
  • Demonstrated understanding of scheduling, job costing, and project tracking systems.
  • Must have strong technical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Intermediate level experience utilizing project management software such as MS Project or Primavera.
