Operations Coordinator Opportunity

Color Compass, a leading Canadian automotive refinishing and repair supplier, is seeking a highly skilled Operations Coordinator to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Senior Operations Manager in managing 10 warehouses across 4 provinces
  • Develop, deploy, manage, and maintain company projects and programs across multiple provinces
  • Research provincial legislation and integrate it into the business and individual stores
  • Communicate with store managers on implementation process and procedures
  • Manage data metrics to track progress throughout multiple programs and procedures
  • Ensure compliance of programs and procedures are maintained
  • Provide HR functions, including job postings, resume screening, and onboarding packages for new hires
  • Administer and track staff training certifications and expiry dates
  • Manage the Health & Safety Program and online staff training portals
  • Prepare materials and data for presentations
  • Provide administrative support for all staff at the store
  • Data entry & filing
  • Produce reports and analysis financial data
  • Manage office & facility supplies, schedule equipment maintenance, review vendor contracts
  • Manage/schedule Vehicle Fleet Maintenance and Building Repair/Maintenance
  • Plan office seasonal and special organizational events
  • Learn warehouse operations to effectively manage office procedures
  • Run office errands as required
Requirements:
  • Secondary education and/or degree would be an asset
  • 5 years of work experience in a setting with a multitude of varying workplace responsibilities and tasks
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment taking on multiple tasks and a?figure it out? aptitude with the ability to work independently
  • Proven ability to take initiative and is driven to be successful
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational and problemsolving skills
  • Ability to perform responsibilities demonstrating a strong work ethic with a positive team attitude
  • Proficiency in MS office including Excel
  • Excellent time management skills including written and verbal communication skills
