About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Engineer to join our team at Arcadis. As a key member of our Road and Transportation team, you will play a critical role in providing technical support and services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop transportation infrastructure projects, including road and roundabout designs, traffic management plans, and utility coordination.
- Conduct traffic impact studies, including data collection, traffic analysis, and report writing.
- Develop parking studies, including policy review, data analysis, and recommendations.
- Prepare technical memos and reports, including cross-sections and plan view drawings.
- Assist with proposal development, budgeting, and scheduling.
- Collaborate with other design disciplines, offices, and staff to deliver projects.
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Transportation Planning, Civil Engineering, or Engineering Technology.
- 5+ years of experience in road design, traffic engineering, and transportation planning.
- Experience in managing small projects and studies.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and CIVIL3D.
- Municipal geometric design standards and GIS knowledge.
- Collaborative attitude and ability to work independently.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
