Transforming Transportation Infrastructure

RVA is seeking a highly skilled Senior Transportation Engineer to lead the design and development of major road infrastructure projects. As a key member of our Transportation team, you will be responsible for leading preliminary and final designs, ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of transportation infrastructure projects, including stormwater management and utility relocation.
  • Develop designs that meet regulatory agency requirements and company standards.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are met.
  • Quality control and assurance to ensure designs meet TAC/MTO standards and client requirements.
  • Resolve complex construction issues and participate in the training and development of junior staff.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • 10+ years of experience in transportation design and project management.
  • Active designation to practice in the province of Ontario.
  • Proficient in transportation and municipal design software.
  • Experience with design of grade separations, HOV and BRT lanes, and transit facilities.
