Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Head Chef to join our team at Bubble World Tea House - Richmond. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the kitchen operations, supervising staff, and maintaining high-quality standards.


Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Service: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods in line with menu requirements and presentation standards.
  • Team Management: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, provide guidance and training where necessary, and maintain a positive working environment.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment, and manage stock levels to minimize waste and optimize resources.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Ensure the kitchen and work areas are clean and well-maintained, adhering to health and safety standards.

Requirements

To succeed as our Head Chef, you will need:

  • A minimum of 1 year's experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Demonstrable skills in preparation, cooking, and presentation of food, with attention to detail and quality standards.
  • The ability to lead and motivate a team, providing guidance and support where necessary.
  • An understanding of inventory management principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
