We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Project Lead to oversee the design, manufacturing, and installation of Industrial Irradiators at Sotera Health. As a key member of our Production Irradiator (PI) team, you will lead project teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:- Oversee the entire lifecycle of Industrial Irradiator projects from concept to commissioning.
- Provide technical guidance and oversight to designers, engineers, technologists, and suppliers.
- Maintain project timelines and ensure the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
- Travel internationally for approximately 60-90 days per year to customer sites for Irradiator installations and on-site supervision.
- A Mechanical Engineering degree with professional certification (PEng) or ability to obtain certification.
- A minimum of 8-10 years of hands-on industrial experience encompassing mechanical expertise and a solid understanding of electrical, controls, and process engineering.
- Proficiency in Solidworks or equivalent software for design and modeling.
- Proven project management skills honed through practical experience.
- Exceptional mechanical troubleshooting abilities.
The estimated annual salary for this position is $140,000-$170,000 based on industry standards and market conditions.
