About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Department Head to join our team at Kolani Kitchens and Baths Inc. As a Department Head, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our sales goals are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Manage Staff

You will be responsible for supervising and managing a team of 3-4 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are meeting their sales targets and providing excellent customer service.

Assign Sales Tasks

You will be responsible for assigning sales tasks to your team members, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet sales targets.

Hire and Train Staff

You will be responsible for hiring and training new staff members, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their job duties.

Authorize Payments

You will be responsible for authorizing payments by cheque, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.

Order Merchandise

You will be responsible for ordering merchandise, ensuring that our store is stocked with the latest products and trends.

Establish Work Schedules

You will be responsible for establishing work schedules for your team members, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.

Sell Merchandise

You will be responsible for selling merchandise, ensuring that our customers are satisfied with their purchases.

Prepare Sales Reports

You will be responsible for preparing sales reports, providing insights and analysis to help us improve our sales performance.

Resolve Customer Issues

You will be responsible for resolving customer issues, ensuring that our customers are satisfied with their purchases.

Organize Inventory

You will be responsible for organizing inventory, ensuring that our store is stocked with the latest products and trends.

Supervise and Coordinate Activities

You will be responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of workers, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.

Requirements
  • Education

You will need to have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

You will need to have at least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a retail environment.

Language

You will need to be fluent in English.

Work Hours

You will need to work 40 hours per week.
