Job Summary

Kolani Kitchens and Baths Inc is seeking a highly skilled Department Head - Retail Store to join our team. As a key member of our retail operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and motivate a team of 3-4 staff members to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Operations Management
    • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure efficient use of resources.
    • Authorize payments by cheque and manage cash handling procedures.
    • Order merchandise and maintain inventory levels to meet customer demand.
  • Customer Service
    • Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and timely manner.
    • Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced retail environment with tight deadlines and high pressure.
    • Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in all aspects of the job.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a retail or supervisory role.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Accurate and efficient in all aspects of the job.
    • Excellent client focus and interpersonal skills.
    • Flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Organized and reliable with a strong work ethic.
    • Team player with a positive attitude.
Working Conditions

40 hours per week, permanent position.
