Job Summary:

Tulsa Winch Group is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining numerically controlled equipment to machine parts to exacting tolerances.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install tooling on CNC equipment and machine parts to exacting tolerances.
  • Follow program instructions and diagrams for setting fixtures and outlining tooling and sequence of operations.
  • Select and load appropriate part programs for machine runs.
  • Maintain accurate and timely transactions in the ERP system.
  • Make needed adjustments to equipment and programs.
  • Load, unload parts to and from machine and maintain monitoring of operations to assure proper machine functioning.
  • Check parts periodically during operations to verify conformance to specifications using precision measuring devices.
  • Assist in maintaining and servicing of equipment as directed.
  • Read and interpret blueprints.
  • Train other employees and assist in other departments as required.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to travel as required and/or directed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency using the Company's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, communication systems, computer systems, software systems, operating systems, including Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel, and other related programs.
  • Strong history of applying continuous improvement concepts and tools.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Work Environment:

  • Must be able to perform physical activities such as standing, walking, sitting, kneeling, bending, lifting, carrying, balancing, stooping, reaching, handling, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing.
  • Must be able to move around obstructions such as boxes, chairs, desks, office equipment, and other related items that may be on the floor.
  • May require lifting up to 50 pounds with or without lifting aids and devices.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing shop and climate-controlled office environment as job duties require.
