About the Role

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team at Alpha 1 Cabinets Ltd. As a CNC Machinist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the precision and quality of our manufactured products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables to ensure accurate production.
  • Set up and adjust production machineries/tools to optimize performance and productivity.
  • Fabricate and assemble components and machine parts to tight tolerances using conventional and computer-controlled machine tools.
  • Maintain, repair, and calibrate precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Document and report any deviations from specifications and tolerances to ensure quality control.
  • Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers) to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful as a CNC Machinist at Alpha 1 Cabinets Ltd., you will need:

  • A college diploma or CEGEP certificate in a related field, such as machining or engineering technology.
  • At least one year of experience working with CNC machines and precision measuring instruments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet production deadlines.
