About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Welding Technician to join our team at AIR-ON MECHANICAL INC. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products
  • Operate hoisting and lifting equipment to move materials and products
  • Operate previously set-up welding machines to bond metal or to fill holes, indentations and seams of metal
  • Operate previously set-up brazing or soldering machines to bond metal or to fill holes, indentations and seams of metal
Work Environment

You will be working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a focus on quality and productivity. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a physically demanding environment with repetitive tasks and will have excellent hand-eye coordination.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with spot welding machines
  • Experience with automated welding equipment
  • Knowledge of metal fabrication and welding techniques

Language and Work Schedule

The primary language of work is English and the work schedule is 32 to 40 hours per week.
