Welding Technician Overview

Leostar Development Group Inc. is seeking a dedicated Welding Technician to join our team. This role involves working in diverse environments and handling various welding tasks that are crucial to our operations.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
Work Environment

The position requires working outdoors and in conditions that may include heights, dust, noise, and other challenging elements.

Job Responsibilities
  • Interpret and apply welding process specifications.
  • Operate both manual and automated welding machinery.
  • Read and analyze welding blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Inspect welds to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Utilize flame-cutting equipment and metal shaping machines.
  • Fit, braze, and perform metal straightening tasks.
  • Assess the weldability of various materials.
  • Handle hoisting and lifting equipment safely.
  • Fabricate or repair metal components as needed.
  • Maintain welding equipment and perform minor repairs.
Physical Requirements

This role is physically demanding, requiring the ability to handle heavy loads (up to 50 lbs) and maintain manual dexterity and attention to detail.
