Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welding Fabricator to join our team at Empire Truck Repair & Sales Inc. As a Welding Fabricator, you will be responsible for interpreting welding process specifications, operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, and reading and interpreting welding blueprints and drawings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret welding process specifications and blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication and repair of metal parts and products
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints and drawings to determine weldability of materials and to identify necessary repairs
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads and maintaining attention to detail
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in welding and metal fabrication
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
