About the Role

We are seeking a talented customer service professional for our Mississauga, Ontario location. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and committed to our mission of putting customers first.

Job Summary

The Customer Service Representative will support a diverse range of customers from small local accounts to large strategic partners. They will ensure timely and accurate processing of customer orders and inquiries with efficiency and proficiency, meeting company standards and exceeding customer expectations.

Responsibilities
  1. Process incoming customer purchase orders via phone, fax, and email, including order entry, maintenance, credit, and debit note processing.
  2. Place customer product orders using an ERP system, ensuring efficiency and high attention to detail.
  3. Review and resolve issues related to pricing errors, discontinued items, below minimum quantities or below minimum order levels.
  4. Initiate contact with customers to communicate and resolve any issues, respond to inquiries, and provide excellent service.
  5. Evaluate Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs) in accordance with company policies.
  6. Collaborate with 3PL providers and logistics teams to effectively manage outbound orders.
  7. Work closely with cross-functional partners, including Sales, Service, Marketing, Distribution, and Finance, to resolve product quality issues efficiently.
  8. Develop strong knowledge of ACCO Brands products, policies, procedures, and systems.
  9. Support department manager by generating reports on department metrics.
  10. Make recommendations for process improvements.
Requirements
  • High School diploma required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a customer service role preferred, but not required.
  • Fluency in English and French is essential.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently, with a strong sense of organization and attention to detail.
  • Committed to service excellence and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle stress and resolve conflicts diplomatically.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office suite.
  • Familiarity with Oracle, SAP, and other ERP systems is considered an asset.
  • Must be able to work from our Mississauga, Ontario location on a hybrid basis.

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
