About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Nubo Kitchen + Bar. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Kitchen Staff: Lead and motivate our kitchen team to ensure seamless service delivery and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide on-the-job training and coaching to our kitchen staff to enhance their skills and knowledge, and promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize waste, and make recommendations for cost-saving initiatives.
  • Quality Control: Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service, and address any customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Staff Scheduling: Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and minimize overtime, and make adjustments as needed to meet changing business demands.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, and maintain a clean and safe working environment for all staff.
Requirements
  • Education: College diploma or equivalent in a related field, such as hospitality or culinary arts.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a supervisory role in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Certifications: Food Safety Certificate and any other relevant certifications.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and attention to detail.
