Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Good Earth Coffeehouse Capital Park.

Job Summary:

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our coffee shop, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards, and supervising staff in various areas of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and supervise staff in various areas of responsibility.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and ensure that they are aware of the establishment's culinary genres.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and prepare budget and cost estimates.
  • Supervise and check assembly of trays, delivery of food trolleys, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns, and ensure that staff are aware of the importance of client focus and efficient interpersonal skills.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment with 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English.
Work Environment:

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods. The role requires attention to detail, flexibility, and the ability to work as part of a team.
