About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Totem Resorts. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, and inventory.
- Analyze operating costs and other data to optimize kitchen efficiency.
- Supervise and train cooking staff to ensure consistent high-quality dishes.
- Develop and implement new recipes and menu ideas.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to plan and execute special events and banquets.
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are met.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
