Elementary Teacher Occasional List

We are currently accepting applications for the Elementary Teacher Occasional List for the upcoming school year. Successful candidates will receive day-to-day teaching assignments through our Occasional call out system for schools within the UCDSB. As an occasional teacher, you will have the flexibility to choose the locations where you are willing to travel to upon hire.

Qualifications and Experience

  • OCT in Good Standing (or in the process of obtaining)
  • Qualifications in Primary, Junior, Intermediate, Special Education, FSL/French, etc.

  • Complete responses to all job-related questions
  • Attach relevant diplomas, certifications, and reference letters (if applicable)

Selection Process

  • Applicants will be selected for an interview based on school preferences, specific qualifications, and/or availability
  • Interviews will be conducted via Microsoft Teams
  • The UCDSB selection process includes a review of required qualifications, an interview and assessment process, and reference checks

What to Expect

  • A conditional employment offer pending a valid criminal record check for the vulnerable sector
  • A comprehensive onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition into the role
