Job Summary

Naina's Indian Kitchen Bar & Grill Inc. is seeking a skilled Cook to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes for our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning: Plan and prepare menus that meet the needs of our customers and align with our restaurant's vision.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including appetizers, entrees, and desserts.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels of ingredients and supplies to ensure that we have what we need to meet customer demand.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure that they are meeting our high standards for quality and service.
  • Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Skills: Excellent cooking skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced kitchen environment with frequent exposure to heat, noise, and physical activity.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a physically demanding environment.
