Job Title: Executive Chef

Westover Inn is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods for our guests.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by a dietitian or chef
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and safe food preparation
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Standing for extended periods and ability to work under pressure
