Literacy Program Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Integrated Literacy Coordinator to join our team at the Athabasca Denesuline Education Authority.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement literacy programs for elementary students in the Denesuline First Nations communities.
- Collaborate with teachers and education staff to enhance literacy skills and promote a love of reading.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify areas of improvement and track student progress.
- Design and deliver professional development workshops for teachers and education staff on literacy best practices.
- Build relationships with community members and stakeholders to promote literacy initiatives and engage the community in education.
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
- Experience working with Indigenous communities and developing literacy programs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
