Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Excavation Specialist to join our team at NEW RISE TRANSPORT LTD. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment, conducting pre-operational checks, and performing minor repairs.

Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy equipment, including excavators, to excavate and move earth and other materials.
  • Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Perform minor repairs to equipment, including cleaning and lubricating, to maintain optimal performance.
  • Secure special attachments to equipment, such as hydraulic pumps, to facilitate efficient operation.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, with varying weather conditions and physical demands.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in heavy equipment operation.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, with regular exposure to heavy machinery and equipment.
  • Steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, and safety vest are required.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 35 hours per week, permanent work term.
