Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator

V Contracting Inc is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to operate a variety of heavy equipment, including backhoes, bulldozers, and loaders. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation and maintenance, as well as excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
  • Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment
  • Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks
  • Perform minor repairs to equipment
  • Secure special attachments to equipment
  • Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in heavy equipment operation
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Physically demanding work
Work Environment:

The Heavy Equipment Operator will work in a variety of outdoor environments, including construction sites and heavy equipment yards.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Work Schedule:

The Heavy Equipment Operator will work 40 hours per week.
