Your Role
As a Registered Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of pharmaceutical products prepared for delivery. You will work in a team-based environment, providing final checks and being involved in the quality assurance team. You will also confirm the accuracy and completeness of prescriptions and perform the final check of prepared prescriptions.
Requirements
- Current registration as a Registered Pharmacy Technician with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP)
- Experience working as a Registered Pharmacy Technician is strongly preferred
- Knowledge of KROLL Pharmacy systems in a long-term care setting is a strong asset
- Retail/Community/Long Term Care Pharmacy experience is strongly preferred
- Demonstrated computer or word processing skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage priorities in a time-sensitive environment; possesses strong organizational skills
- Ability to benefit from coaching and instruction for quality processes; comfort with and accepting of constructive feedback
