Nova Scotia Health Authority's Student Health and Wellness Centre is seeking a skilled Family Medicine Practitioner to provide primary health care services to a diverse patient population.
The ideal candidate will be a licensed physician with experience in family medicine, able to work collaboratively with an interprofessional team to deliver high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive primary health care services to patients of all ages and stages of health or illness
- Be accountable for appropriate workload and practice
- Work with other physicians to provide on-call service to clinic patients
- Collaborate with other team members to best suit the community's health needs
- Operate within the Medical Services Agreement between Nova Scotia Health Authority and Dalhousie University
- Utilize the Centre's shared electronic medical record to record all relevant patient details
- Full-time employment
- Physicians choose their own schedules with the operating hours of the Centre
Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia
Eligible for certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada
Member of the Canadian Medical Protective Association
